The 2010–11 UEFA Europa League is the second season under a new name for the competition previously known as UEFA Cup. The final will be held at Aviva Stadium, which opened in May 2010 at the former site of Lansdowne Road in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
Atlético Madrid are the defending champions.
The group stage features 48 teams: the title holders, Atlético Madrid, the 37 winners of the play-off round, and the 10 losing teams from the Champions League play-off round. The teams are drawn into twelve groups of four. The top two teams in each group advance to the round of 32.
I will add a list of the groups after the draw is made.
